Day 2: Journaling

One of the things that has helped me through a lot of brain fog the past few weeks has been journaling.

I don’t always write daily, but I have been lately and it’s been a great way to just get things out of my system. Writing has helped me get some thoughts down, reread them and draw some conclusions. It’s been great to pick up on patterns in my experiences and see where things might head next. Amazing what happens if you slow down and look at it.

I can write most places, but my favorite is somewhere with a cup of coffee or tea beside me. It’s a treat to get to grab a bite and sit down to work, like the picture above shows.

Do you have any methods you use when you’re journaling? Any specific habits such as places or a certain type of book or pen or app you use? I want to hear all about it!
