Not everyday is this setting, but it’s still worth getting up early
So if Day 8 was Go to Bed Early obviously, Day 9 is Wake Up Earlier!
But why?
I’ll share my personal findings with you. I’ve worked jobs that start around 7 or 8 in the morning and I’m in a job that I go in at noon currently. I was all stoked because I could sleep in, but after a week or two of staying in bed til late, I felt so unproductive.
Waking up, jumping in the shower, getting dressed and rushing to work at noon was leaving me with a feeling of being unfulfilled. Wake up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, go to bed is not a life that I want to always lead. Sure there are days like that and I sleep in every now and then (til 8:30 maybe), but I much prefer waking up and getting things done.
In order to help with this, I’ve got a set of things I am trying to do every morning (meditate, coffee, stretch) to help motivate me to get up and going. I figure if you are going to start out your day, do it ahead instead of being behind for the whole day- it sets the whole 24 hours into motion.
