Day 31: Complete a Project

Came back to celebrate where the idea for this project was born

You guys, we made it. A month has passed and I wrote a post every single day on self care tasks. This may not seem very significant to you, but it means so much to me.

I have a hard time setting goals and attaining them much of the time, especially when it comes to long term. Completing this month long project has shown me that I can indeed do just that- and do it decently well and it not feel like torture (important factors when it’s something you enjoy doing).

Completing a project or big task is such a self esteem booster, too. Last week when I realized how close I was to the end of the run, I thought to myself “hey, I can do this, I can tackle whatever I want.”  I am so excited to see what the future holds, what the blog is going to look like and the subsequent project or two I’m launching this fall.

I have also learned quite a bit about how I work and how I work best. From the time of day I write to the planning posts to getting my social media sharing down, it’s been an enlightening experience and I now know better how to work at my full potential.

The Made Status Clothing shirt says exactly how I’m feeling today

It’s an awesome feeling knowing things are possible- big things are possible, because I already did something that I consider mighty big. So, reflect on your successes and completed projects and goals. You might just surprise yourself with how awesome you and how much you dominated- and can continue to do over and over again!

And one more shout out- thank you to all of you, dear friends, who have read, shared or commented on these posts this past month. The time that you took out of your day to interact with my project has been a huge part of why I’ve been able to keep up with the daily work.  Here’s to the next project- I’ll be announcing it soon!!
