5 Minute Face Tutorial

Sometimes, you wake up late or just don’t want to spend a long time on your make up. Even though I typically spend a good 10-15 minutes everyday on my look, I got inspired by a quick pre-work face and put together a 5 minute look. It’s not super fancy, but it’s nice, pretty easy and well, made with a bunch of good product that were mostly sample size products!

Without further ado, let me share what I started with this mug and these few products…

Started with this mug

And a few products….

  1. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+  2. Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint (my shade is Wonder, but couldn’t find it on their site) 3. Ulta Beauty Brow Tint in Medium 4. bareMinerals Mineral Veil Translucent Powder in Illuminating 5. Clinique All About Shadow Single in Angel Eyes (Top Left)Blushing Blush Powder in Smoldering Plum 6. Ulta Color Correcting Foundation & Primer Stick 7. Bella Pierre Volume Lash Waterproof Mascara

And some brushes….

A. ELF Studio Complexion Brush  B. ELF Blush Brush C. Luxie Rose Gold Small Duo Fibre Travel Brush  D. ELF Eyeshadow “C” Brush E. Luxie Rose Gold Tapered Blending Eye Brush

Whew! That’s a bunch of sources…so now to get into putting this look together.

Put on some moisturizer- this Clinique kind is my favorite forever. It’s so wonderful! Then dot on some of the Ulta Foundation- it’s got good coverage, so you don’t need a ton of it on. Blend all that in and hit the Clinique palate. The one I have here is admittedly probably pretty old (oops) and I don’t really use the purple color, but I love the Angel Eyes shadow and even put the blush on my eyes as well to add a little more color. Like I said, it’s a 5 minute look, so I didn’t get crazy. Blend in the shadow with the Luxie blending brush and your eyes are looking great. Put a quick hit of the brow tint on your brows, just a little swipe or two will do.

Add on some of the illuminating powder to your cheek bones (I love the Luxie small brush for this!) and throw on a little blush from the Clinique palate. Use your large ELF complexion brush to blend everything together.

At this point, you’re so close to being done! Put on a few coats of mascara and pop on some lipstick or gloss. With a little practice, I promise you can accomplish this in five minutes.

As I said, this one isn’t an over the top, fancy look, but a quick “oh crap I’ve gotta go to work now” looks.

Do you have any products that you love for a quick face?

Author’s Note: Thank you for reading my first make up tutorial! I’m learning how things work as I go in that realm, so I really appreciate your readership! Questions or suggestions? Let me know!  #NotABeautyBlogger
