5 Minute Face Tutorial

Sometimes, you wake up late or just don’t want to spend a long time on your make up. Even though I typically spend a good 10-15 minutes everyday on my look, I got inspired by a quick pre-work face and put together a 5 minute look. It’s not super fancy, but it’s nice, pretty easy and well, made with a bunch of good product that were mostly sample size products!

Without further ado, let me share what I started with this mug and these few products…

Put on some moisturizer- this Clinique kind is my favorite forever. It’s so wonderful! Then dot on some of the Ulta Foundation- it’s got good coverage, so you don’t need a ton of it on. Blend all that in and hit the Clinique palate. The one I have here is admittedly probably pretty old (oops) and I don’t really use the purple color, but I love the Angel Eyes shadow and even put the blush on my eyes as well to add a little more color. Like I said, it’s a 5 minute look, so I didn’t get crazy. Blend in the shadow with the Luxie blending brush and your eyes are looking great. Put a quick hit of the brow tint on your brows, just a little swipe or two will do.

Add on some of the illuminating powder to your cheek bones (I love the Luxie small brush for this!) and throw on a little blush from the Clinique palate. Use your large ELF complexion brush to blend everything together.

At this point, you’re so close to being done! Put on a few coats of mascara and pop on some lipstick or gloss. With a little practice, I promise you can accomplish this in five minutes.

As I said, this one isn’t an over the top, fancy look, but a quick “oh crap I’ve gotta go to work now” looks.

Do you have any products that you love for a quick face?
