It’s been a while since I wrote about tv, so it’s time to share some of what I’ve been watching lately….

Will and Grace

I didn’t quite get Will and Grace when it was in the original run, but I am loving the new season. The jokes and story lines are timely and perfect while the characters are just as charming as they were when I’d caught it a few times in the earlier season. I also love the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) touches throughout. As an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, watching this show also helps give a better look at how life really is for members of the community. It’s also makes me laugh out loud every week and I love it.

At Home with Amy Sedaris

I’ve always loved David Sedaris and have often been entertained by his hilarious sister Amy Sedaris. She recently got a show on TruTv, At Home with Amy Sedaris, and it is fantastic. She is super funny and the show has some amazing gags. So far, she has covered fish dinner (including the most important part, porkchops) and creating and giving gifts. There’s a bevy of amazing guests who play characters, such as Cole Escola (from the show Difficult People) and Nick Kroll.  The show has some great recipes and ideas that actually work, but they’re presented in a funny way.
