One of the quickest and easiest ways to get into the holiday spirit is a fantastic holiday music playlist. Thanks to sites like Spotify, these playlists are fun and easy to make. There’s nothing better than a rad playlist that you can set on shuffle and go along with your cleaning, party or whatever other activity you’re doing.
Personally, I’ve created a holiday mix that combines my love for classic tunes (think Bing Crosby and Burl Ives) and more modern gems like Nsync and indie bands who’ve written original songs for the holidays.
Some of my absolute fave songs are “Christmas Wrapping” by the Waitresses and “Last Christmas” as covered by Jimmy Eat World. The Kacey Musgraves version of “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” is the constant joke and sing along in my house, as it gets in Loss’ head and never seems to leave- I just love that version!
So hit play, enjoy some tunes and take in some of the holiday spirit. If you’re on Spotify and dig this list, follow me and check out my other playlists, too. Hope you enjoy the tuneage!
